OLD GIRLS GAME Trinity Ladies Gaelic football want to get in contact with as many people as possible that have been involved with the club in the past. We intend to get a Trinity Old Girls match/event to take place this semester for the first time,March 27th at 6pm in Ringsend. The mens gaelic and hurlers have been running this event successfully for the past number of years so thought it was time we try follow their lead. Sadly two girls that were involved with Trinity Ladies gaelic in the past passed away in 2009 so it would be nice to have an opportunity to commemorate them. Was just wondering would there be many of you interested in taking part in the match or even showing your support on the day? Cliodhna Farell 087 9042147. Congratulations to everybody involved in getting Trinity's first ever GAA Goal Posts. The success of this long running campaign now means teams training on the Cricket Pitch will be able to make use of the new posts, and with Cricket Pitch opening for use again they should be seeing plenty of action in the near future. The addition of the posts to College Park attracted much radio and national newspaper coverage and will no doubt raise the profile of the club within Trinity. Again, congratulations to everybody involved in all the work that went on behind the scenes to make this happen. See the Gallery for more pictures from the official opening.
